For the past 7 years I've been the owner of The Cadogan Flower Company a well established Wedding & Events Floral Design business. It's always been an interest of mine to expand into children's parties and so I created Ivy & The Bear. My aim is to offer extraordinary, yet affordable and accessible children's party services that create magical memories for children of ages 1-10.

As a child, my summers were spent having friends over and hosting parties most weekends. We had a large long garden, a large put up pool, a massive 12ft picnic table and a big room at the end of the garden with a pool table from which music blared most evenings and weekends. The memories of my birthdays and these random parties have always stuck with me. My parents used to fill the living room downstairs with streamers and balloons, and come up with simple yet creative gift ideas such as filling a purple plastic treasure chest with costume jewellery and unwanted treasures, which to a small child looked like wonderland. 

 

These are the memories that I wanted to create for my own children, so when it got to my son's 2nd Birthday, he came downstairs to his pirate party and his first word was "WOW"! He had such a tiny vocabulary but it instantly melted my heart and I knew this was what I wanted to do. I had my second child in 2019 and during the 2020 lockdown Ivy and The Bear was born.
